Upholding the Rights of Education for Stateless Children – A Closed Forum with Wiki Impact and Bait Al-Amanah

Written by

On the 13th of October, 2021, Iskul went live with representatives from Wiki Impact, and Bait Al-Amanah, in a closed forum to discuss the issue of stateless students and their rights to education.

Catch the entire session in the video here! It was a refreshing discussion that allowed us to advocate for our students, and engage in conversation with like minded, passionate people.

These avenues for discussion make a huge difference in the type of work that we do. The exchange of ideas and experience means that we learn from projects and experience of others, and makes all of us better.

It is crucial, when working with marginalised communities, to always keep an open mind and remember that we are simply advocates. We look forward to working with similar organisations and individuals, and are grateful for the opportunity to be a part of the safe, encouraging space of activism in Malaysia.
